ORIGIN AND FOUNDATION
Turwubake Organization is a non-governmental organization recognized as serving the public interest.
The organization is based on the study published on October 10, 2020, in the book titled “Urarwubake cyane”, written by Fr. AMERIKA Victor. The book analyzes the challenges facing families and proposes appropriate solutions to address them.
The establishment of this organization is founded on:
- Invitation Letter No. 1149/2100/2020 from the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion (MIGEPROF), following the meeting held on November 5, 2020. The meeting brought together ministries, government institutions, the private sector, religious organizations, and researchers, as part of the implementation of Article 6 of the 2019 National Umushyikirano resolution.
- The Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda, particularly Article 39.
- Law No. 05/8/2024 of June 20, 2024 governing non-governmental organizations.
Turwubake Organization is a legal entity. It contributes to the country’s development through three key pillars: Education, Family, and Development.
